Gee’s Jewellery is a handmade jewellery brand that offers unique pieces inspired by chart-topping pop stars. 

The creative genius behind the quirky designs, Gee herself, took some time to talk us through her creative process, her pop girl collections and plans for the future. 

In 2020, Gee spent her time in lockdown crafting earrings out of oven-baked polymer clay. She unknowingly made a life-altering choice when she decided to share a few of her designs online.

“The response was amazing. People loved them, and as interest grew, I began selling my pieces. What started as a small creative outlet quickly turned into a full-fledged business, and I haven’t looked back since!”

As reflected in her pieces, Gee is inspired by pop culture, nostalgia and current trends. Aside from earrings, Gee’s Jewellery offers an array of statement jewellery.

“My pieces range from pop culture-inspired designs to fun, sparkly creations that make a statement. Whether it’s a cute, retro-inspired earring or something bold and edgy, Gee’s Jewellery is all about celebrating individuality and self-expression through accessories.” 

She begins her design process with a sketch before digitally refining it and using a laser cutter and acrylic to bring it to life. 

“Once the pieces are cut, I hand-assemble and finish each one, adding any extra details like paint, shimmer, or special embellishments. Every piece is carefully crafted to make sure it’s as fun and high-quality as possible!”

After a complete website sell-out of over 300 items within minutes, Gee’s Jewellery has shifted to a made-to-order system to keep up with demand and ensure that everyone can get their hands on their favourite pieces.

One of her most popular collections is a representation of Taylor Swift albums from Debut to The Tortured Poets Department. The worldwide phenomenon that was The Eras Tour meant that Swifties were on the hunt for the perfect Taylor-inspired accessory. 

“Fans loved accessorising with pieces that matched their outfits and the different album aesthetics, making it one of my best-selling collections to date!”

Pop phenomenon-inspired jewellery doesn’t stop there. A collection dedicated to all things Chappell Roan includes pink glitter cowboy boot earrings, Hot-to-Go engraved heart-shaped earrings and a shimmery red devil heart keyring. 

“I love translating music and iconic aesthetics into fun, wearable designs that fans can connect with.”

If kiss marks and hearts are more your style, Gee has an entire Sabrina Carpenter collection for your pop princess needs. Fans can adorn their ears (and keys) with espresso cups and heart-shaped earrings inscribed with provocative lyrics. 

"I’m a huge fan of Sabrina Carpenter, so creating a collection inspired by her felt so natural to me! I only design collections based on what I genuinely love, and her music, aesthetic, and overall vibe fit perfectly with the fun, playful jewellery I love to make. Her dreamy, Y2K-inspired style was a huge inspiration, and with her rising popularity—especially after opening for Taylor on The Eras Tour—I knew other fans would love having accessories inspired by her too.”

This year, Gee wants to step out of the jewellery box (pun intended) and delve into homeware. 

“I want to explore creating mirrors, coasters, wall art, and even drinking glasses—fun, stylish pieces that bring personality into everyday spaces. I can’t wait to see how people respond to this new side of Gee’s Jewellery!”
